From childhood, I dreamed of being an artist. My high school art teacher and the Art Club managed to raise funds to build a darkroom, and the very first time I ever made a print, I fell in love with photography. It was like magic seeing an image develop on paper!
I grew up in Gurley, AL, and moved to Nashville, TN, after graduating from college. I married a wonderful man in 2005, and his career brought us to Johnson City in 2006.
Instead of finding a regular 9 to 5 job, my husband encouraged me to work on building my photography business, so that's exactly what I'm doing.
